When Katie and I first met it was through work. I had heard all about her but we had never met. She also said the same about me. We had mutual friends and they kept talking to us about each other. My mom always told me when you know you know. I never really understood that until I met Katie. I can literally remember the exact day and time even what she was wearing. Crazy I know but then we just kinda became friends we hung out with the same people worked together. It didn’t take long to know we both had an attachment to each other. We started dating and I told her I’m gonna marry you someday. Fast forward a few years and I was going to visit Carrie at exclusively diamonds. Carrie and her team always take the best care of me. Like I am vip or something.  She helped me pick out the perfect ring and now was the hard part. How was I gonna pop the question. I talked to Katie’s parents got their blessing, and the planing began. I took her to our family’s lake house had my sister setting everything up. The only problem was I was early, so I had to drive very slow, told her we had to watch out for deer. I was still too early so I purposely went the wrong way. I was waiting for dark. We made it and I think I blacked out I was so nervous. She said yes! Now it was time to start wedding planning. All I knew about that was that I wanted to doughnuts. We picked a destination and things got rolling from there. It was truly one of the best days of our lives.
