The story

Little did I know that one Saturday afternoon, when my sister offered to take graduation photos of me after I had just earned my bachelor’s degree from MSU, would turn into a surprise engagement photo session.

Landon had been planning a special moment with my sister for quite some time, and let me just say, they totally blindsided me.

We were taking a photo side by side on a bridge at Boom Island Park in Minneapolis when he sneakily pulled away from me. I immediately felt him not beside me and said, “What are you doing?”

As I turned around, he was already down on one knee. Tears started flowing for both of us right away. I of course said yes instantly and was absolutely stunned by how beautiful the ring was.
