I kept the proposal pretty simple. Since we did the ring shopping together, she knew it was coming sooner or later, but I still wanted it to be secret. I chose our 9 month anniversary for the date. I treated it like a totally normal day, just relaxing at home playing some pool like we commonly do. Then we moved to the couch to watch YouTube, that's when I surprised her with a video that I put together myself. It was a little compilation of all of our photos together with some little messages to remind her of all the fun times we've had so far. I left the end of the video open ended and that's when I got up and gave my speech and bent my knee to propose. She was overjoyed and I definitely succeeded in surprising her.
