Bennett and I reconnected years after both attending Loyola Highschool in Mankato, MN We both grew up here. We became very good friends first and I started doing all the marketing and events at Fillin Station, which he owns. We worked very well together and as our friendship and business grew, so did our LOVE!

We went on a long much needed vacation in Belize and went on a Mayan cave tour in the jungle in Belize, then relaxed on the beach. He took me to dinner where he had rented the rooftop of this restaurant called Castaway. I was certain he was going to propose at this romantic dinner, but he did not. When we got back to our hotel on the beach, he got down on one knee outside in front of the ocean and I was absolutely stunned when I saw the ring! He really listened to my vision of it being floral and vintage/unique!
