EAR PIERCING FAQ
An appointment is required so we can reserve dedicated time to ensure there are two piercing staff available.
Ear piercing for children is at the discretion of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian must be present for minors. Many families choose to wait until their child can participate in the decision and follow aftercare instructions comfortably.
We primarily pierce the ear lobe and, in select cases, additional lobe placements as part of a simple ear stack. Our specialists always evaluate your anatomy and recommend what is safest and most appropriate for you. Certain cartilage piercings may not be available.
You may feel a quick pinch and slight pressure, but the piercing itself is very fast. Most guests describe it as a brief moment of discomfort followed by a mild, warm sensation that fades quickly. Our specialists move at your pace and check in with you throughout the process.
Typical ear lobe piercings take about 6 to 8 weeks to heal, though healing time can vary from person to person. During this time, it is important not to remove the starter earrings, to keep the area clean, and to follow all aftercare instructions provided at your visit.
You will receive a detailed aftercare guide at the end of your appointment. In general:
- Clean the front and back of the piercing as directed, usually twice daily.
- Avoid touching or twisting the earrings with unwashed hands.
- Keep hair products, perfumes, and makeup away from the piercing area while it heals.
- Do not remove the starter earrings until the full recommended healing time has passed.
Most appointments take approximately 20 to 30 minutes from start to finish, allowing time for consultation, placement, the piercing itself, and aftercare review. Multiple lobe piercings may require slightly more time so the experience still feels relaxed and unhurried.
